Make-Up Set Guide – Style Boutique 2/Style Savvy 3

empty-my-pockets:

Make-Up
sets are available in a wide range of styles and colours and can
greatly enhance your look. These sets can be used to display and sell at
the Beautician, in fashion shows and for use with your own character.
You can design your own make-up sets with the make-up components you
desire and sell these at the Beautician.

To
unlock the make-up sets, you must obtain a special item from characters
around the city at different times of the week and year. Look for a
character with a musical note above their head and talk to them to
obtain the item. Once you have the item, take it to Tarquin on the
second floor of the Beautician and he will give you a make-up set themed
around the item you found.

There
are 30 make-up sets to collect in the game. This guide details the name
of the set, the item to collect and it’s location, the time of week or
year the item is available and the specific time the item is available.

Ohagi Recipe from Twin-star exorcists/Sousei no Onmyoji

(Quick version – makes 6)

An essential thing to make for your waifu if she’s like Benio. And I managed to make it and eat it in less than 15 minutes.

This requires mochi/glutinous rice, not your regular short-grained calrose or japonica. Also, regular versions of ohagi use a mixture of glutinous and regular short-grained rice but I decided to use only glutinous.

See my whole list of fan recipes here and follow me @onionchoppingninja for more!

Ingredients

  • ½ japanese cup (90ml) of mochi/glutinous rice, washed.
  • 2/3 japanese cup (120ml) water
  • Packet of tsubuan (chunky red bean paste – got mine from daiso!)
(It’s possible to make your own too, but if you’re out hunting for glutinous mochi rice, chances are that a can of anko will be right next to the rice.)
  • pinch of salt
image

Method

  • Soak rice in water from 30mins to an hour in a microwaveable bowl.
  • Cover and microwave at max for 2 mins
  • Stir it a bit, and microwave at max for 2 mins again x 2 (6 mins total)
  • Try smooshing a grain of rice between your fingers. If it doesn’t smoosh, cover and microwave on medium for another minute or so.
  • Mix in pinch of salt
  • Mash up rice with a mortar. Ohagi isn’t as finely mashed as mochi, so it’s ok to have some structure of the rice grain still there!
image
  • Roll rice with moist hands into equal balls.
image
  • Spread the tsubuan on some (moistened) clingwrap, and put a ball of rice in the middle of it. Wrap red bean paste around the rice. (It’s ok for thereto be some rice showing (That’ll just be the bottom.
image
  • Plate and listen to your waifu complain that you didn’t make more. (I know I’m only showing 3 instead of the 6 balls this makes, but the first 3 weren’t that photogenic. :P)

Style Boutique 2 Colour Palette Guide

empty-my-pockets:

Style Boutique 2 has an exciting feature of taking photos to unlock colours in the colour palette. These colours can be used for in various other parts of the game including hair and make-up colours.

To unlock colours in the colour palette, you simply travel to different locations through the city and take photos of certain environments or items. Then visit Primrose Park and show Rainbow the photo you have taken to unlock the colour. Rainbow will tell you if you have found a new colour or the photo contains one you already have.

For hints on colour locations, talk the NPC’s you have a rainbow exclamation mark above them and they’ll give you a hint of where a colour is located.

Some colours must have photos taken at certain times of the day or during different seasons. When visiting a location, you can press the L and R buttons to cycle through different views of the location. For example, cycling through the view at Cafetiere Close will allow you to view the chocolate cake scene.

The guide is separated into each colour section of the palette. Each section contains all the colours required for that set and the location you will find each colour. For example, to unlock Tabby Grey, visit Primrose Park during Morning/Afternoon and press L or R until you see the view with the cat sitting on the bench. Colours which are available from the beginning of the game are listed as default. All colours listed have the name from the EU/AU version of the game, some names are different in the Japanese version.

Hope this guide helps you find the missing colours in the palette. I’m working on collecting photos of each colours location to include in the guide. Please feel free to ask for help on any colour locations.

No longer replaces hair, now just adds it!

I will eventually add more hairstyles, not quite sure when (quite frankly not sure what else to add besides some other short cuts), but I figured that I should try to give back to the modding community for once 🙂

Let me know if there are any bugs, and if you guys like this mod!

Installation instructions:

  • Download the mod
  • Extract the archive
  • Go to Stardew Valley/Content/Characters/Farmer
  • Replace the hairstyles.xml file with the provided

You might want to make a backup file of ‘Farmer’ just in case! But it should work.

Notice Me Senpai! Guide

shortbreadofdoom:

Alright so I’ve been playing the game for about two weeks now and I’ve managed to unlock every senpai. Since I’ve been getting a few asks on how to get all of them, I decided to make a quick guide for everyone who needs help!

Unlocking everyone isn’t hard as long as you have their favorite items out. If you want a certain senpai to show up often, the best way to do that is to have their top three favorite items which is listed in their profiles. Note that what I list down below isn’t everything that can make them appear and they may not be their exact favorites since I haven’t switched around my items recently. If you know what their exact favorites are (which would be an item where they’re actually interacting with it rather than just standing i.e. Basketball Club Senpai is the only one who dribbles the basketball) then please feel free to message me so I can update this list!

UPDATE: Thanks to a few people who have kindly messaged me, I have managed to find almost every item that a senpai interacts with. Whichever item below is listed first is the one that he has a special action with. The only ones that I am missing is Art Club Senpai and Drama Club Senpai’s special item so if you have any idea I would greatly appreciate it if you share it with me so I can add it to the list 🙂

Senpai List and Favorite Items

  • Nerd Senpai – Chess Set, Soft Armchair, Small Bookshelf
  • Young Senpai – Gumball Machine, Strawberry Shortcake, Pet Cat
  • Lazy Senpai – Blue Sofa, Strawberry Shortcake, Soft Armchair
  • Art Club Senpai – Flower Vase, Mirror, Painting of a Lady
  • School Festival Senpai – Taiko Drum, Small Orange Tree, Rose Vase
  • Science Lab Senpai – Pet Cat, PC Station, Miso Soup
  • Gamer Senpai – Chocolate Cookies, Chocolate Cupcakes, Reclining Chair
  • Gourmet Club Senpai – Ice Cream Machine, Strawberry Shortcake, Miso Soup
  • Delinquent Senpai – Jukebox, Flower Vase, Basketball
  • Basketball Captain Senpai – Basketball, Pet Cat, Guitar
  • Drama Club Senpai – Strawberry Shortcake, Mirror, Stuffed Bear
  • Goat Senpai – Rose Vase, Flower Vase, Small Orange Tree
  • Calligraphy Club Senpai – Traditional Tea Set, Reclining Chair, Piano
  • Butler Senpai –  Fancy Tea Set, Piano, Large Bookshelf
  • Student Council President – Large Bookshelf, PC Station, Reclining Chair
  • Crammer Senpai* – PC Station, Stuffed Bear, Reclining Chair
  • Idol Senpai* – Piano, Stuffed Bear, Reclining Chair
  • Rocker Senpai* – Guitar, Stuffed Bear, Reclining Chair
  • Sensei* – Reclining Chair, Stuffed Bear, Guitar
  • Childhood Friend Senpai** – Stuffed Bear, Reclining Chair, Guitar

* = Although it lists three items underneath their profile, it seems those special senpais only show up when you have the very first item out (i.e. Crammer Senpai = PC Station, Idol Senpai = Piano, etc.).

** = It appears that Childhood Friend Senpai is the hardest to come across as I have only encountered him once. @ephemeral-ingenue suggested to me to change my cafe theme to the one with pink stripes and polka dots (the fourth one) and that actually worked. I’m not 100% if that was the reason he showed up, but it’s the only time he showed up for me!

** – UPDATE: Again, this is not 100% certain, but I got Childhood friend Senpai/Takeru Senpai to show up again whenever I change my cafe theme (he still only interacts with the Stuffed Bear) so maybe that could be a way to encounter him more? I also used only Gourmet Beans, so perhaps switching your cafe theme often and using the more expensive beans (Golden Beans, Magic Beans) could increase the chances of him showing up.

Extra Information:

  • Try to save up your gems for the cafe expansion (200 gems). It helps you encounter more senpais at once and since there are more of them, you can easily earn back all your gems.
  • Once you feel that you have enough coins, switch over to Gourmet Beans since rarer senpais will show up more often.
  • To get all the notes and CGs from each Senpai depends on the number of hearts they have. Once you get to the third/green heart you will receive a note from them. After that you have to wait until they get to the fifth/red heart to see a special scene and get their CG. For the special senpais, there are two unlockeable CGs (4th heart = 1st CG, 5th heart = 2nd CG).
  • To increase their hearts, you have to get them to visit the cafe often which is why it’s important to leave out their favorite items especially if you want a CG from a specific senpai.
  • The senpais at the top of the list will only take a few visits to get a CG from them, then the number of visits increase as you move down the list. (i.e. I got Lazy Senpai’s CG in 50 visits vs Delinquent Senpai’s CG in 150 visits)
  • An anon made a great suggestion for those who keep getting senpais who already have their hearts maxed out. It’s a cold method, but if they’re occupying an item, simply remove the item which will make the senpai leave and then put it back and hope for the senpai you want to show up. It’s kind of harsh, but it will definitely speed up the process of collecting everyone’s notes and CGs haha.

Those are all the useful tips I can give you guys for now! If I find anything new I’ll be sure to update this. Again, feel free to message me if you have any other questions or if I need to correct something on this guide. Happy senpai hunting!

girlseatingmelons:

There should be more about about the less well-known symptoms of Obsessive-compulsive disorder, things such as

  • hyper-morality (extreme black and white moral reasoning)
  • hyper-responsibility (feeling responsible for everything to a self-destructive degree, even feeling responsible for events which have nothing to do with you)
  • intolerance of uncertainty, (feeling very uncomfortable if you do not know everything about a given situation).
  • Excessive and persistent desire for reassurance
  • Extreme bouts of anger

Everyone who has OCD has it in a different form, so they might not show all of these symptoms but for others it can be a defining part of their illness.
